Milwaukee Man Pleads Not Guilty to Killing Friend Over Shoes

A Milwaukee man pleaded not guilty to first degree reckless homicide in the death of his friend on Tuesday.

Milwaukee Police said he shot and killed a friend over a pair of Air Jordan's.

Decarlos Chambers pleaded not guilty to first degree reckless homicide.

Police said the accused shot Kyle Weary over an argument about gas money and holding the shoes as collateral.

A trial date is now set for June 12.
