Milwaukee Man Lost Control of His Car and Fatally Struck a Tree

A fatal crash happened around 2:35 a.m. on Monday in the 5900 block of N. Sherman Boulevard. 

According to Milwaukee Police, a 30-year-old Milwaukee man was driving a 2001 Nissan Pathfinder on Sherman Boulevard, lost control of the vehicle, and struck a tree. 

The man was pronounced dead at the scene. 

The preliminary investigation reveals speed may have been a factor in the crash. 

MPD continues its investigation.
