Update: Man dies after being pulled from fire near 37th and Helena

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A 32-year-old man left in critical condition following a fire in Milwaukee, has died.

The Milwaukee County Medical Examiner's Office identified the man as Denvelt Harris.

The ME's report says Harris was found in the basement of the home where he slept. He was taken to St. Mary's Hospital where he passed away.

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A Milwaukee man is in critical condition following a fire near 37th and Helena on Saturday, Sept. 11.

Police say it happened at a residence around 4 a.m.

A 32-year-old man sustained life-threatening injuries and was transported to a local hospital.

No other injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
