Milwaukee man dies after crash with bucket truck in Racine County

RAYMOND, Wis. (CBS 58) -- On Thursday, January 25 around 1:44 p.m. the Racine 911 Center was called for a crash at the intersection of Highway 45 and 7 Mile Road between a Jeep and a bucket truck.

A 54-year-old Milwaukee man, Anthony Simos, was driving the Jeep when he pulled in front of the bucket truck that did not have a stop sign.

Simos was taken to Froedert Hospital where he died from injuries sustained in the crash.

The cause of the crash is under investigation, but neither speed or alcohol appear to be factors.
