Milwaukee man charged after alleged threats made at MU volleyball game
MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A 21-year-old self-described "YouTuber" is facing a charge after making threats at a Marquette women's volleyball game earlier this month.
Muhammad Sanneh is being charged with disorderly conduct.
According to a criminal complaint, he was at a game at the Al McGuire Center on Oct. 6 wearing a kaftan, traditionally worn by people of the Muslim faith.
He asked a police officer if the officer "liked" the kaftan. The complaint says the officer responded that it "looked good."
Sanneh then allegedly told the officer that he was "gonna blow this place up."
Officers spoke with other attendants at the game who stated that another student had been recording Sanneh as he walked around saying he was going to blow the place up. The complaint says about 2,000 people were present.
Sanneh was arrested and later admitted he was a "YouTuber" trying to get a reaction out of people.
He is due in court Nov. 28.
