Milwaukee man shot during attempted robbery

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A man is in the hospital and police are still investigating after a shooting around 7:30 Wednesday night.

Police say a 53-year-old man has non-life threatening injuries after he was shot during a robbery attempt on the 2800 block of North 24th Street.

Investigators say they are looking for a known suspect. Anyone with information is asked to call police.

A 53-year-old male suffered a non-life threatening gunshot wound following a robbery attempt on the 2800 block of N. 24th St.

Milwaukee Police are continuing to investigate.
