Milwaukee Man Awoken in His Bed to Three Men Pointing Guns at Him

A man on Milwaukee’s East Side awoke to three armed individuals in his bedroom last July and this past Friday one of the individuals was charged for this crime.

According to the criminal complaint, the victim lived in the 1300 block of East Kane Place.

On July 23, 2016, he was sleeping in his residence when he awoke to male voices talking loudly.

One of the individuals dragged him out of the bed and threw the victim on the floor.

According to the criminal complaint, the individuals demanded he open his safe.

The individuals became upset after he opened his safe and began asking him where he kept his money, drugs and guns.

During this time period, the individuals allegedly were punching the victim in the back of the head.

The victim told the individuals he did not have any guns and pointed to a chest where he kept his money.

The individuals took $400 and ordered the victim to the floor in the hallway.

One individual held a gun on the victim while the other ransacked the apartment.

They allegedly stole two televisions, a PlayStation, watches, and several pairs of Nike Air Jordans.

On December 27, 2016, Brandon Streff allegedly admitted to police to his involvement.

He allegedly identified Travis Young as being a participant.

Young was charged armed robbery and burglary. A $20,000 cash bond was set for Young on February 18.
