MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) – A Milwaukee man is facing several charges for possessing drugs with intent to deliver and resisting an officer.
According to a criminal complaint, 39-year-old Eric R. King Jr. was arrested on August 10 in West Allis.
Authorities say he was a passenger in a car during a traffic stop and when asked to get out of the vehicle, King began running from the scene.
Officers used a conducted electrical weapon several times on King because he was resisting and reaching into his front waist band, according to court documents. King eventually stopped resisting.
Several drugs were found on King and in the car he was traveling in.
He faces more than 40 years in prison.
