Milwaukee Man Arrested for Pointing Gun at County Bus

Officers from Milwaukee Police District arrested an intoxicated man who pointed a loaded gun on the city’s North Side. A witness called police around 8:20 PM on Saturday, October 17 to report that a man in a gray hooded sweatshirt and red pants had just pointed a gun at a county bus in the 2700 block of West Fond du Lac Avenue.

When officers arrived at the scene, they saw the suspect with a gun in his hand. The suspect fled on foot but officers quickly caught up to him, placed him into custody, and recovered the loaded revolver.

The suspect, a 25-year-old Milwaukee man, was conveyed to a local hospital due to his intoxicated state and then was released into police custody.

He faces charges of Carrying a Concealed Weapon and Endangering Safety by Use of a Dangerous Weapon. MPD will present this case to the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office in the coming days.
