Milwaukee man arrested for OWI after driving wrong way, causing crash that injured passenger

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A Milwaukee man was arrested after a wrong way crash.

According to the Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office, the man was driving westbound in the eastbound lanes of I-94 at 35th Street. He then crashed into another vehicle that was traveling eastbound.

It happened around 3:12 a.m. on Saturday.

The passenger in the vehicle which caused the crash was taken to a local hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.

There were no injuries reported for the driver and passenger in the vehicle that was struck.

The driver of the striking vehicle faces charges of OWI Causing Injury and 2nd Degree Recklessly Endangering Safety.
