Milwaukee man arrested for 5th OWI Sunday afternoon

WAUKESHA, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A Milwaukee man was arrested for his 5th OWI offense Sunday afternoon, August 22.

Abdullah M Hasan, a 48-year-old from Milwaukee, was arrested by the Wisconsin State Patrol Waukesha Post at approximately 4:30 p.m. Sunday for operating a motor vehicle under the influence, 5th offense.

Authorities say after locating the stopped vehicle that had been reported for erratic driving on I-94 EB on the exit ramp to CTH SS, a trooper observed signs of driver impairment.

Reports show that standardized field sobriety tests were conducted when the trooper determined the driver was under the influence of intoxicants and subsequently arrested him for Operating While Intoxicated 5th offense.

Officials report a blood draw was obtained, and the subject was turned over to the Waukesha County Jail without incident.

The subject will be charged with OWI (5th), felony bail jumping, possession of marijuana, and booked on a misdemeanor warrant for a traffic offense.
