Milwaukee man arrested after allegedly running over Greenfield bartender

MILWAUKEE COUNTY (CBS 58) -- A Milwaukee man has been arrested after allegedly running over a Greenfield bartender back in March.

It happened at a bar located near West Loomis Road and Cold Spring Road.

Kenneth-Duane Keaton is charged with Hit and Run Causing Injury.

Officers spoke with the bartender who told police he was working when a man, later identified as Keaton, came in being disruptive, loud, and obnoxious.

The bartender told police that Keaton tried to bring his dog into the bar, but was told the dog could not come inside.

A short while later, the bartender believed that Keaton had damaged his vehicle. When he went outside to get Keaton's vehicle license plate, Keaton allegedly "gunned it" and accelerated into the bartender.

The bartender was hit and flew onto the hood of the car.

He is expected to be okay.
