Milwaukee man accused of burglarizing Marquette University apartments

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A Milwaukee man is in custody after allegedly breaking into several apartments near 16th and Wells and stealing property from inside. 

Nhyji Burnett was arrested last week after police say he broke into seven apartments at Marquette University between May 16-17 and stole clothes, alcohol, a laptop and other items from four units. 

He's charged with two counts burglary (home invasion) and two counts burglary of a building or dwelling. 

Burnett is due in court for a preliminary hearing June 9.
