MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) – Milwaukee leaders are talking about the economic impact of the South Shore Terrace.
Thanks to a potential funding from the county, the South Shore Terrace kitchen and beer garden will add 125 more seats if it’s approved in the county budget.
Last year, the terrace brought in about $875,000. They’re hopeful expansion will cut lines to get a drink in half.
“If you like this area, you’re going to love that are and we’re going to have more food, more beer, and more fun,” said,” said Milwaukee County Supervisor Marina Dimitrijevic.
Leaders hope the project could become a reality within three to four years, depending on funding from the county budget.
The budget has not been approved yet.
