Milwaukee IndyFest revs up this weekend at the Milwaukee Mile

WEST ALLIS -- Milwaukee IndyFest returns to the Milwaukee Mile for a full weekend of racing and track activities. 


Opening festivities kick off August 15 at 5 p.m. with the Rock the Block Street Party outside of the Hilton Milwaukee City Center on 5th and Wisconsin Ave. There's no admission charge and organizers say there will be plenty of activities for all ages to enjoy with a Harley-Davidson bike simulator, IndyCar display and appearances by drivers, including Michael and Marco Andretti. 


The official start to IndyFest is August 16 at the Milwaukee Mile at 7:30 a.m. Infield activities include a family fun zone, NVL Pro Beach Volleyball autograph session and tournament matches, and a pit stop challenge.


The event wraps up on August 17 at the Milwaukee Mile with pace car rides, IndyCar two-seater rides, motorcycle display, Rickshaw Championship Race, and the Wisconsin 250 race at 3 p.m.
