MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- More than 100 students walked out of Milwaukee High School of the Arts to protest ICE on Friday, Jan. 30.
CBS 58 spoke with students who said they were out to protect equal rights and to protest mass deportations.
"The mass deportations that have been happening with our government, with ICE, it's really sad to see our society fall as a whole," said Messiah Gooden, student.
"I just really pray that nothing happens to our society and people that want to come to America to live free," said Demario Beets, student.
This is just one of several school walkouts protesting ICE that have taken place in our area.
