Milwaukee gears up for NCAA tournament

MILWAUKEE- The NCAA tournament is a big money maker for the city of Milwaukee and an even bigger undertaking.


The city will be hosting the second and third rounds.


Plans have been in the works preparing for the the big dance for years.


It's expected there will be 15,000 attendees and about five-thousand those will stay over night in hotels.


It's estimated that the city will see a $4.6 million dollar economic impact.


About 1,200 tickets are still available.


Milwaukee last hosted the NCAA tournament in 2010.


With a better economy in 2014, Visit Milwaukee is predicting bigger crowds and more money spent.


Preparations will continue through this week and into next week.
