Milwaukee Fire and Police Commission releases results from police satisfaction survey

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) – The Milwaukee Fire and Police Commission has released the results of their 2017 City of Milwaukee Police Satisfaction Survey Findings report.

The survey asked residents about their satisfaction and trust in the Milwaukee Police Department, their perceptions of safety and police visibility, views on types of police contacts, and exposure to crime.

Of the 1,338 completed interviews, nearly 73% said they were “very” or “somewhat satisfied” with the Milwaukee Police Department while about 27% said they were “not very” or “not at all satisfied.”
