MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A select group of Wisconsin high school students are on their way to joining the ranks of the FBI.
The Milwaukee Field Office is hosting a week-long teen academy.
The kids get to explore different aspects of the FBI.
They see how investigations unfold -- from forensic evaluations to using drones and intelligence analysis.
The special agent in charge tells us -- the learning doesn't have to stop here.
"As a matter of fact, in this office we have over ten different employees who started off as interns who then became full-time FBI employees," said Special Agent In Charge of the Milwaukee Field Office Michael Hensle.
This week, the students will work individually with mentors, and they also have a special group assignment -- tackling a case together.
