2 hurt in hit-and-run crash near 27th and Lisbon; suspects in striking vehicle flee

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A hit-and-run crash near 27th and Lisbon Thursday, April 16, left two people injured -- one of them seriously. 

Milwaukee police said just before 11:30 a.m., a vehicle failed to stop at a red light at the intersection, and crashed with another vehicle. The occupants of the striking vehicle fled on foot from the scene. 

The occupants of the vehicle that was struck included a 24-year-old Milwaukee man who sustained serious injuries, and a 22-year-old Milwaukee man who suffered non-life threatening injuries. Both were transported to a local hospital in stable condition.

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- At least two people are hurt following a crash near 27th and Lisbon in Milwaukee Thursday, April 16. 

The Milwaukee Fire Department was called to the scene just after 11:30 a.m., for an auto extrication. 

Officials tell CBS 58 two people were transported from the scene to a hospital for treatment.
