MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee Diaper Mission (MDM) unveiled new branding Thursday, for their period products program.
MDM's Flow Forward program aims to end period poverty by addressing the needs of menstruators across Milwaukee.
Here in the U.S., two in five people struggle to purchase period supplies due to a lack of income.
Milwaukee Diaper Mission has been distributing period products since 2020, but they hope this new branding elevates the public awareness of their mission.
"The sole purpose of our organization is to meet those basic needs, to provide these items for free and with dignity, so that everyone in our Milwaukee community feels supported," MDM Executive Director Meagan Johnson said.
The branding move comes during National Period Poverty Awareness Week.
