Another soaking rain possible this week
MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Kimberly Graves, communications coordinator for the Milwaukee County Zoo, joined us Friday, Nov. 14 to talk about the return of Wild Lights presented by We Energies Foundation.
The holiday light display runs 28 nights from Nov. 21 through Dec. 31, with select closures, from 5:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. It features an expanded route of decorative displays and pathways throughout the zoo, according to Graves.
Opening night Friday, Nov. 21, will feature a drone show. The zoo is offering four drive-thru nights on Nov. 29 and Dec. 7, 14 and 21, where guests can view the one-mile route from their cars. Animals will not be viewable on drive-thru nights.
Special events include Cheers! Wild Lights on Dec. 11 for guests 21 and older, and Dogs After Dark on Dec. 17, when the zoo will welcome dogs for the first time. Santa Claus will visit on select dates, and live entertainment will be available nightly.
