MILWUAKEE (CBS 58) -- The Milwaukee County Zoo is offering free admission on Saturday, Feb. 7 for Family Free Day as well as Virtual Valentines for loved ones.
Megan O'Shea, communications manager at Milwaukee County Zoo, joined us on Thursday, Feb. 5 to talk about both.
Admission is free Saturday, though parking and other attraction rates apply. The zoo is open 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Virtual Valentines allow people to send customized video greetings featuring zoo animals. A zookeeper narrates a personalized message alongside a penguin, otter or other animal. Videos are 45 to 60 seconds and are emailed. The deadline to order is Saturday, Feb. 7.
