MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Families can visit the Milwaukee County Zoo for free on Saturday, March 7 during the zoo’s Family Free Day.
Communications manager Megan O’Shea joined us Thursday, March 5 to talk about the zoo offering free admission for all visitors, although parking and attraction fees still apply. Guests may also spot red pandas Dash and Dr. Erin in their outdoor habitat, where the animals often climb high platforms or curl up with their tails wrapped around them.
O’Shea also highlighted Bosede, a male greater kudu calf born Jan. 25 to parents Hasani and Imani. The zoo says the calf weighed nearly 38 pounds at birth and has begun tasting hay and alfalfa.
