Milwaukee County golf courses open for the season

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- All 15 Milwaukee County golf courses opened for the season on April 3. 

The clubhouse and proshop at Oakwood Park Golf Course in Franklin recently got new upgrades. There are also newly paved golf cart paths. 

"As of today all 15 Milwaukee County golf courses, which you know are fantastic, are open for the season. It's time to break out your clubs, start swinging, and at the same time, contribute to your county," says Milwaukee County Executive Chris Abele. 

More than 235,000 round so golf are played on the courses each season, generating $7 million in revenue for the county.
