Milwaukee Bucks Help Install Smoke Detectors

It's easy to check your smoke detector batteries when a Milwaukee Bucks player is on hand to help. For years now the team has joined Milwaukee Firefighters in visiting residents, checking on their smoke detectors and making sure they're working.

The Chief says sometimes adults get complacent on the fire safety rules they've heard since childhood. So, this is a way to really get folks' attention and remind them to plan an escape should a fire break out.

This year's push is to get a working smoke detector in every bedroom in Milwaukee.
