Milwaukee Bucks acquire veteran Jae Crowder via trade, deal Serge Ibaka and others
MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Hours ahead of the NBA trade deadline, the Milwaukee Bucks have reportedly made a move.
According to The Athletic's Shams Charania, the Bucks have traded for Jae Crowder for five second round picks.
Crowder has not played at all this season for the Phoenix Suns and was just traded to the Brooklyn Nets in a major deal for All-Star forward Kevin Durant.
The 32-year-old Crowder is in his 11th season in the NBA averaging 9.6 point per game, 4.3 rebounds a game on 34% shooting from 3-point range over the course of his career. He was a highly sought after trade target in the NBA for his defensive abilities on the perimeter. Crowder has also played in two of the last three NBA Finals with the Miami Heat and Suns.
Crowder is no stranger to Milwaukee, also starred for Marquette in college, even winning Big East player of the year in 2012.
The full trade includes the Bucks sending George Hill, Serge Ibaka, Jordan Nwora and three second-round draft picks to the Pacers. They will also send two second-round draft picks to the Nets, as part of the three-team deal.
