Milwaukee Brewers name new Vice President of Finance

The Milwaukee Brewers today named Jamie Norton to the position of Vice President – Finance and Accounting.

Norton officially begins his duties with the Brewers on Thursday, October 1.

Norton, 35, will oversee the daily financial operations of the Brewers and Brewers Community Foundation, including financial reporting, budgeting, risk management, tax compliance, and payroll.

“Jamie brings an ideal combination of skills and experience to this position, and we know he will be a key contributor to the Brewers and to our finance operations,” said Brewers Executive Vice President – Finance and Administration Bob Quinn.

Norton comes to the Brewers after spending the last nine seasons in the finance department of the Chicago Cubs. He started with the Cubs in 2007 as Manager of Finance before being promoted to Assistant Director of Finance and Risk Management in 2013.

“I’m excited to join the team Bob has put together and I look forward to helping build something special in Milwaukee,” Norton said.
