MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) – A Milwaukee boy is getting his dream trip.
5-year-old Zhou Zheng had two heart surgeries when he was younger. It’s his wish to visit the San Diego Zoo.
Through the Make-A-Wish Foundation and the organization, Jewelers for Children, he’ll go to California with his family.
On Tuesday, he had a special sendoff party at the Milwaukee County Zoo.
“See the joy on Zhou Zheng’s face as he gets to do things he hasn’t done before and experience some fun things, he’s been very well taken care of and it’s just awesome,” his dad said.
Jewelers for Children has donated more than $500,000 to make kids wishes come true though the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
