Milwaukee Auto Show kicks off Feb. 26

MILWAUKEE, (CBS 58) -- On Feb. 26, the 2022 Greater Milwaukee International Car and Truck Show kicks off.

Hundreds of cars, trucks, crossovers, EV's and SUV's will be on display at the Wisconsin Center.

Attendees will be able to climb into the cars and check leg room on the new vehicles. However, you cannot buy a car at the event.

Organizers say this year, getting vehicles to the show was a challenge due to a nationwide shortage.

Manufacturers didn't have a lot of access inventory so some manufacturers had virtually no vehicles that they brought out to shows. So then, the backup was getting what was available from local dealers and they all cooperated," said Jim Tolkan, President of the Auto Dealers Association of Metro Milwaukee.

Again, the show opens to the public on Feb. 26 and runs through March 6.
