Milwaukee Art Museum donates bowls, 500 lbs. of canned food to Hunger Task Force

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) – The Milwaukee Art Museum donated 100 hand-made bowls along with 500 lbs. of canned goods to the Hunger Task Force on Tuesday.
The museum collected food donations from visitors last month. The bowls were decorated by families and children at the museum as well, to show support for those in need throughout the community.
“We have a lot of childhood hunger in Milwaukee,” Hunger Task Force Director of Development Jonathan Hansen said. “This is just a really special partnership between the Hunger Task Force and the Milwaukee Art Museum to make sure our kids are growing up healthy and strong in the community.”
The bowls are being given to La Causa Inc., an organization that provides food and shelter to local kids in need.
