MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A great spot for Father's Day finds is at the annual garage sale for the Milwaukee Admirals happening Wednesday at UM Panther Arena off Kilbourn Avenue in the downtown area. The public can purchase hundreds of items, including game-worn jerseys, new and game-used sticks, and other pieces of equipment. Last year the event raised $65,000. Event organizers hope to collect even more.
The garage sale runs until 7:00 p.m. on June 13. There's no admission. Some of the prices are negotiable but not the jerseys. Also, today, free tickets to Summerfest and future Admirals games are up for grabs. In addition, the team is having its first ever scavenger hunt around Milwaukee. Check the Admirals social media platforms for additional information.
