MILWUAKEE (CBS 58) -- As the holiday season approaches, Miller Lite is introducing some festive spirit to celebrations that involve popping open a can of suds: the Miller Lite BEERCracker. Designed to combine holiday cheer with an ice cold beer, this gadget offers a fresh take on the traditional nutcracker design.

The BEERCracker was announced on Monday, Nov. 27 and crafted to resemble a classic holiday nutcracker, with a functional twist. This new accessory stands out with its intricate beer-themed design, including beer barley boots, a pilsner foam cape and hop leaf buttons.

What sets this apart from a typical nutcracker is its dual functionality as a beer opener, featuring one opener in its mouth for bottles and another on its removable hat for cans. The dual functionality aims to deliver easy access to beer via a decorative statue on the mantle.

Miller Lite's history of holiday-themed products includes the Christmas Tree Keg Stand and Beernaments.

The BEERCracker will be available for purchase starting Wednesday, Nov. 29 at shop.millerlite.com, priced at $29.95.
