Middleton Police: Syringe found in child's Halloween candy

MIDDLETON, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Middleton Police say after trick-or-treating the Foxridge neighborhood, a family found a training syringe while going through their child's trick-or-treat bag. 

Police say the item was a sample or training medical device that had no hazardous medications and no needle. 

No one was hurt, but police are warning parents to carefully look at all the items their children got on Halloween.
