Michigan man shot while trying to buy drugs in Milwaukee

Milwaukee police are investigating a shooting that happened Saturday night.

Officers were called to the area of 7th Street and Chambers around 10:10 PM.

Police say that a 27-year-old man from Iron Mountain, MI was in Milwaukee to buy drugs.

He got into a struggle with the drug dealer and was shot.

He was taken to a local hospital for treatment of his non-life threatening injury.
