Milwaukee Fire Department highlights challenges for first responders
MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) – The Milwaukee Fire Department responded to a fire in the basement of an apartment building early Monday morning.
Crews were called to the area near 97th and Michele around 2 a.m. The fire was quickly put out and everyone got out of the building safely, according to fire officials.
One firefighters was hurt, but was not transported to the hospital.
There’s no estimate on damage at this time. The cause of the fire remains under investigation
