MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A 21-year-old woman is dead following a crash near 77th and Marion Thursday night, according to Milwaukee Police.

Authorities say around 8:32 p.m. a car was spotted speeding and driving recklessly. Officers attempted to pull the car over but it drove off. Police say they did not pursue the car.

The car then crashed into a tree near 77th and Marion. Authorities say a 22-year-old woman and a 2-year-old child were also hurt in the crash and taken to the hospital.

There is no word on their condition.

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Milwaukee County Medical Examiner confirms that one man was killed in an accident near 67th and Marion on Thursday evening.

The man died while en route to the hospital.

According to the fire department, another person and a child were injured and taken to local hospitals. There is currently no word on their condition.

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Three people were injured after their car crashed into a tree on Thursday evening.

It happened around 8:40 p.m. near 67th and Marion.

According to police, officers observed a vehicle driving recklessly and attempted to stop it. The vehicle would not stop and sped away. Police say they did not pursue the vehicle and later discovered it crashed against a tree about 4 blocks from where they first saw it.

The Milwaukee Fire Department says they are still working to remove one of the people trapped in the car.

The investigation remains ongoing.
