MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) — Mexican Fiesta is approaching, a celebration of Mexican culture with music, food, dancing, performances and much more. Telemundo Wisconsin will be in attendance.
As Laura Vázquez, marketing and office administrator, explains, the event is more than just fun and games. It is also a time to raise money for Hispanic college students in Wisconsin.
This year, some of the special attractions include a car and motorcycle show and live performances. Visitors can also discover authentic textiles, pottery, jewelry and more, all made in Mexico.
Tickets are $25 at the gate. Children 8 and younger are free with an adult.
The event is open from noon to midnight, Aug. 22-24.
