Menomonee Falls School District Confirms Cases of Whooping Cough

Menomonee Falls School District's Superintendent’s office confirmed there are two cases of whooping cough at the high school and one case at Shady Lane Elementary. 

The district said it is following the protocols of the Waukesha County Health Department. 

Protocol is that the child must stay out of school for five days and be on an antibiotic, the school district will then send home a formal letter provided by the health department to parents notifying them that a child has tested positive.
