MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The holiday season is a time for giving, and Menards stores across the area are collecting toys for children in need through Monday, Dec. 15.
Chris Lokken, general manager of Menards in West Milwaukee, joined us Wednesday, Dec. 10 to talk about the toy drive.
All Menards stores are participating, with donation boxes located near exit doors. Each store selects a local organization to support with collected toys, which stay in the community.
Local agencies being supported include Guardians of the Children, Kapco's Kids2Kids Toy Drive, Safe & Stable Homes, Salvation Army and Toys for Tots. Shoppers can purchase toys while shopping at Menards to donate.
Menards stores also feature their traditional holiday staple "Enchanted Forest" holiday display with decorated trees, lights and Christmas décor.
