WASHINGTON, D.C. (CBS 58) - In the final event for National Police Week in Washington, D.C., hundreds of fallen officers were honored on the steps of the Capitol.
Among the names read out loud were Officers Charles Irvine, Jr. and Michael Michalski. Both were killed in the live of duty last year.
President Donald Trump spoke at the event, before each name was read aloud as family members added a flower to the fallen officer wreath that will be laid at the memorial in D.C.
