WEST ALLIS, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A suspect has been arrested in connection to the death of a 24-year-old woman found shot to death in West Allis. 

Police say West Allis detectives and SWAT personnel arrested a 25-year-old Milwaukee man at an area hotel. 

The suspect and victim were known to one another and shared a domestic relationship, according to police. 

Police are not seeking any other suspects.

WEST ALLIS, Wis. (CBS 58) -- West Allis police have identified the 24-year-old woman who was found shot to death near 72nd and Madison Monday. 

Milwaukee County Medical Examiner's Office identified the woman as Ninoshka Maestre Lozada.

Police say it happened around 12:30 p.m. Monday, July 18. Police are looking for a suspect.

When you look down the 72nd street of West Allis you're usually met with a quiet area, neighbors say. But for many this afternoon, including Doug Baisley, a father of two, a different picture.

"Scary, real scary to know that someone lost their life due to gun violence. It doesn't belong in our neighborhoods, it just doesn't," he said.

He says more needs to be done.

"It just makes me fear for my family," Baisley said.

Several members of the community say the amount of gun violence throughout Milwaukee County has them terrified, shocked and wanting answers.
