Medical Examiner Identifies Two 19-Year-Old that Died After Crashing into St. Vincent DePaul Building

The Milwaukee County Medical Examiner has identified the two 19-year-olds who died in accident on 9600 block of West Silver Spring Drive on Saturday at 10:30 PM.

The victims were identified as Karoline Medina and Anthony Jackson. There was, also, a dog in the vehicle that died on the scene.

According to a police release, the victims were in a 1993 Geo Prism that fled from Butler Police attempting to conduct a traffic stop.

The Butler officers stopped pursuing the auto shortly after entering the City of Milwaukee.

The victims continued to flee erratically at a high rate of speed westbound on W. Silver Spring Drive. The driver lost control of the vehicle and crashed into St. Vincent DePaul Building.

A child seat and some baby toys were found in and around the car, but no evidence that a child was in the seat was found.

According to police, a loaded pistol and drugs were recovered from the car.

Medina’s family told the Medical Examiner she had a history of marijuana use but no alcohol or street drug abuse.
