UPDATE: Suspect identified in fatal shooting near 56th and Burleigh

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The victim has been identified as 31-year-old Ryan Sims.

Police are investigating the homicide in possible connection with two other shootings that happened on Wednesday. Those other shootings were not fatal. A suspect has been arrested.

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Milwaukee County Medical Examiner is responding to a homicide near 56th and Burleigh.

According to the ME, an adult man has died.

An autopsy will be completed on Thursday.

Milwaukee Police were called to the scene around 1:30 p.m.

Police are investigating a motive and searching for suspects.

In addition, Police responded to 62nd and Sheridan for a double shooting around 1:45 p.m.

A 37-year-old man and 58-year-old man, both from Milwaukee, were shot and taken to the hospital.

Police are searching for the suspect in this case as well.
