MCSO: Victim shot in armed robbery, carjacking on Elm Road off-ramp of NB I-94

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office is investigating an armed robbery/carjacking that occurred on Thursday, Sept. 3.
Authorities say it happened on the Elm Road off-ramp of northbound I-94 around 8:30 p.m.
One victim sustained a gunshot wound and was taken to an area hospital.
MCSO says there is no threat to public safety at this time.
An investigation is underway.
