Mayville senior living center shooting suspect dies from injuries

MAYVILLE, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The shooting suspect at the Spring Glen Apartments, a senior living facility, has died from his injuries, according to the Mayville Police Department Friday, Oct. 2. 

Dennis K. Tollkuehn, 72, has died due to "his self-inflicted gunshot wound, stemming from the multi-casualty shooting" from Wednesday, Sept. 16, according to police.

Tollkuehn was the sole suspect from the shooting. 

The three victims are still recuperating from their injuries at area hospitals, according to officials.

Four people were shot at the Spring Glen Apartments, a senior living facility, in Mayville Wednesday, Sept. 16. 

According to the Dodge County Sheriff's Office, the shooting happened around 7:24 p.m. 

The four shot were transported by Flight for Life to local trauma centers.
