MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) – Mayor Tom Barrett delivered his State of the City Address Monday morning at Fiserv Forum.
Barrett said the State of the City “continues to improve”. Barrett said overall, the economy is stronger and neighborhoods are safer, but there are challenges that remain. Among those challenges, Barrett talked about the need for jobs in low income neighborhoods and problems with the Milwaukee Health Department's lead program.
Barrett also talked about plans to expand the city's streetcar service.
