MATC to Hold Information Night for Displaced ITT Tech Students

Milwaukee Area Technical College will hold an informational night for students displaced by this week's ITT Tech closure.

The session will be Wednesday September 14th from 5-7pm. It will be held at the school's Oak Creek campus, 6665 S. Howell Ave.

Displaced ITT Tech students can also call MATC at 414-297-6050, or email the school at MATCITT@matc.edu.

Some ITT students said earlier this week they are worried moving to MATC would force them to restart their academic career since ITT credits don't directly transfer to a school like MATC. Friday, MATC's director of admissions and financial aid, Camille Nicolai, said, "We're looking at credit for prior learning, we're looking at work experience, life experience, we're looking testing out of some classes perhaps. So there is options out there."
