Meet CBS 58’s Pet of the Week: Bittle
MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Some high-profile supporters of President Joe Biden are in Wisconsin this weekend, campaigning for Black residents to vote for Democrats this fall.
Maryland's democratic governor Wes Moore came to Milwaukee on Saturday, June 29, for a 90's themed R&B themed cookout.
Moore says the Biden Administration has helped African Americans make progress economically since he got into office, giving them a reason to vote for him.
"Because it means our ability to own more than we owe. our ability to pass something off to our children besides debt. That we've been able to focus on things like home ownership and support for small businesses and capitol for minority owned businesses. that matters," said Moore.
Besides a visit to Milwaukee, Governor Moore was also in Madison today where he spoke at the opening of a democratic campaign office with Governor Tony Evers.
Tomorrow, he'll go down to Kenosha for a meet and greet with the Black Coalition.
