Marquette women get 5 seed in leaked NCAA bracket

The Marquette women, like the rest of women's college basketball, waited for the NCAA Tournament field to be revealed Monday evening.

Instead, ESPNU accidentally aired much of the bracket earlier in the afternoon. Marquette found out, hours before their tournament watch party, that they'll be a 5 seed and travel to College Station, TX for the first week of the NCAA Tournament.

ESPN apologized for the mistake and aired its selection show earlier than the scheduled time of 6:00 Central.

Marquette is hoping to advance to the Sweet 16 for the first time in the history of the program.
